Amplifying Women's Voices for a Just and Sustainable Environment
WISE empowers grassroots women and girls to tell their stories, strengthen their collective voice, and drive change through media, advocacy, and movement building.
Who We Are
WISE is a women-led non-governmental organization based in Uganda. We believe that voice is power. We exist to ensure women are not only heard but supported to organize collectively, engage leaders, and demand accountability.
Our work spans across Uganda, focusing on areas affected by climate change and extractive industries. We equip grassroots women and girls with the skills, platforms, and confidence to tell their own stories and use those stories to influence decisions on land, natural resources, and environmental justice.
