Our Impact

Change Begins When Women’s Voices Are Heard

WISE works with grassroots women and girls to document lived experiences, strengthen leadership, and bring community priorities into public conversations on land, climate, rights, and livelihoods.

How WISE Creates Change

Women Tell Their Own Stories

We support women and girls to document their lived experiences in their own words through safe, inclusive, and accessible storytelling processes.

Communities Organize

Stories spark dialogue and action. Women come together to reflect, build collective solutions, and lead change in their communities.

Rights Become Visible

We share community stories through local and national platforms to raise awareness and highlight women’s rights, experiences, and priorities.

Women Engage Decision-Makers

With documented evidence and collective voices, women engage leaders and contribute to decisions affecting their rights, environment, and livelihoods.

Our Approach to Accountability

Community-Centred Documentation

We listen first and follow community priorities. Women lead the storytelling process, and we ensure their voices remain at the centre.

Ethical Storytelling

We protect dignity, consent, and safety in every story we share. We do no harm and honour the trust placed in us.

Responsible Reporting

We share stories accurately and contextually to inform dialogue and action. We are transparent about how stories are used.
